For info about me, see http://purl.org/net/earlemartin/ . I like
ScienceFiction a lot: http://downlode.org/books/sf/ (woefully out of date page).
I wrote a Perl utility for retrieving book covers (see CoverToCover). Feedback welcomed.

I was experimenting cataloging my collection on my
Wiki:PalmPilot "Pocket Library" (causticmango.com); however, I'm not using a PDA any more, so that's fallen through. On the other hand, I've just signed up to LibraryThing.com. With the aid of a ":CueCat" barcode scanner, I'm starting to catalog my collection.

Earle, I should have gone to meet you in a café on Saint-Denis street when you came to Montreal. It would have been fun! I can be very magnanimous but I wasn't in that precise period when you were here. But hey I'll be around for a few hundred years more so I tell you what: next time you come to Montreal, we'll make up for the lost time: Just drop me an e-mail and we'll have that drink together on Saint-Denis street. Take care! -- Robert Abitbol
